Chlamydia |

Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted
bacterial disease in the United States. It is estimated that
more than three million Americans (women and men) become
infected with Chlamydia every year. In the U.S., Chlamydia
results in 250,000 to 500,000 cases of Pelvic Inflammatory
Disease (PID) annually. PID is a serious cause of female
infertility. Unfortunately, young women of childbearing age
are the single largest group affected by the disease. In
most cases, individuals have no symptoms and are unaware of
their bacterial infection. Redox Pharmaceutical Corporation
has demonstrated in preliminary tests efficacy against
Chlamydia infection in animals pre-treated with Doxovir-M™.
