MANAGEMENT AND BOARD OF
DIRECTORS
Melvin Dubin, Chairman of the
Board of Directors, Founder and Chairman of the Board of
Slant/Fin Corporation, established in 1949, a heating products
manufacturer with factories in U.S. and Canada. Mr. Dubin is
Chairman of Modulation Optics, manufacturers of optical systems
for enhancement of microscope images.
Dr. David Gershon,
Senior Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer and
Director, was Skillman Professor and Chairman of the
Department of Biology at the Technion - Israel Institute of
Technology. Dr. Gershon received his Ph.D. from Cornell
University. His expertise includes genetics, virology
(particularly tumor virology), and molecular and cellular aging
processes. His ideas on the use of small molecules to mimic larger
enzymes were the basis for the development of Redox's family of
CTC compounds. Dr. Gershon is the author of over 100 scientific
publications and two books and numerous articles for lay people.
Dr. Gershon has been chairman of many scientific symposia and has
been an active member of numerous academic national and
international committees on basic science and
biotechnology.
Donald
Brown, Chief Financial Officer and Director,
Vice Chairman of Slant/Fin Corporation, a graduate of New York
University School of Business, began his career in public
accounting as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Brown has served
as a member of the Small Business Advisory Council of the Federal
Reserve Bank of New York.
Ephraim Ruttner, Chief Operating Officer and Director, graduated Cornell
University with a degree in Biology and did extensive graduate
work in Pharmacology at Cornell Graduate School of Medical
Sciences. Mr. Ruttner co-founded Direct-Page Communications, Inc.,
a Radio Common Carrier with transmission facilities in upstate New
York, and Starlite Contractors Corporation, an energy management
company.
Mitchel Ruttner,
Director. Mitchel Ruttner is a co founder and partner of R & R Publishing Group, Inc.
Robert Sterling,
Director, is a co-founder and President of the Stockbridge Group,
a risk management and employee benefits consulting firm. Mr. Sterling has provided
pro-bono consulting for and served on the Board of
several not-for-profit institutions. R. Sterling holds a Bachelors degree in Science
and Business Administration from Boston University and received his ARM designation
from The American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters.
Dr. Steven Turner,
Director. Dr. Steven S. Turner is a general dentist and has been practicing in
Howard Beach, NY since 1979. Dr. Turner has a BA from Queens College of CUNY, and a DDS from the NYU College of Dentistry. Besides being an active clinician, Dr. Turner is a paid consultant for the Gerson Lehrman
Group, and was a consultant to Lenny Dykstra for his startup company, The Players Club.
